Transpacific employs a number of educators that work in partnership with our many customers.

Together, we develop and implement education programs to increase resource recovery; minimise waste; reduce contamination levels in recycling, garden and organics bins; and improve community participation.

Our aim is to teach people about the positive impact recycling has on preserving our precious resources. Through our simple to use strategies, attendees can reduce their own personal carbon footprint and help to make a real difference.

As a group, Transpacific's education team holds tertiary qualifications in Primary Education, Natural Science and Environmental Management, along with significant combined experience in a wide range of educational and environmental fields.

Our Education Officers engage and educate thousands children and students each year through our award winning, nationally distributed education programs.

To complement our comprehensive schools program, we run an intensive community education workshop program that enables adult community members to learn about their waste services.

Beyond their work with schools, the team is integral in the development of waste avoidance and resource recovery strategies. The team drives program development as well as implementations across Transpacific’s clients and the community.

We also engage the community in national waste focused awareness theme weeks and initiatives, such as Keep Australia Beautiful Week, National Recycling Week, and International Composting Awareness Week.
