Transpacific’s new mobile cleaning and recycling units, coupled with the company’s strong expertise in sewer and drain cleaning, is saving South East Queensland municipalities time, money and water.
The units not only remove debris from pipes, but recycle wastewater on site to aid the cleaning process.
By reusing water on site, trucks can work for longer without emptying effluent, eliminating the need to draw potable water via standpipes.
Transpacific’s Operations Supervisor, Troy Wrathall, said that clients are very pleased with the results.
“Clients see the value straight away as trucks are on site for a full shift,” he said.
“The new system recycles more than 400 litres of water per minute, improving cleaning efficiencies and providing a longer lasting result.”
“Typically, you would undertake three passes to thoroughly clean a section of pipe. The new system enables us to reduce this to one or two passes, saving our clients time and money,” he said.
In addition to providing a superior clean, the new system has the added benefit of reducing water consumption by approximately 85% compared with traditional methods.
