Reuse of Organic By-Products

Transpacific collects, transports and treats bio solid waste generated by sewage treatment plants, and other organic waste such as grease trap, food waste and abattoir waste.

Strictly regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) these wastes can be beneficially used for soil conditioners, potting mixes, composting, land rehabilitation, landscaping, forestry and agricultural purposes.

Desludging and Sludge Management

Transpacific provides practical and cost effective dredging, dewatering, air drying and sludge management solutions for major water authorities and large industrial clients.

We own and operate a range of specialist sludge management equipment specifically designed for desludging and dewatering the contents of ponds, lagoons and waterways.

The service includes air drying, stockpiling and land application of the processed sludge in accordance with strict EPA guidelines.

In addition, Transpacific manufacturers and installs scum and foam harvesters, and water treatment pilot plants.

Site Remediation

Transpacifics site remediation team specialises in the removal and treatment of contaminated soils from industrial sites, gas works, landfills, agricultural sites and oil refineries. Services include undertaking site investigations, quoting, tendering and project managing.

Treatments for contaminated soils may include chemical fixation and solidification, thermal desorption, vapour extraction and bioremediation.

Composting

Transpacific collects, transports and processes green waste, food scraps, wood waste and inorganics, to create high quality soil conditioners. These products are distributed nationally for agricultural, horticultural and landscaping applications.

Food Waste to Energy

Transpacific owns a joint venture company that specialises in the treatment of organic wastes, such as commercial food scraps from supermarkets and the hospitality industries.

These wastes are processed through state of the art technology to produce fertilizers and green electricity. This electricity is sold back into the national electricity grid.
