Smarter Packaging, Less Waste, Cleaner Environment

Transpacific is proud to be a recipient of funding from the National Packaging Covenant (NPC).

Funding is linked to Transpacific’s Harvest – Recycling Reaps Rewards service. The innovative service allows small to medium businesses to easily and cost effectively recycle packaging waste – something that had previously only be available to much larger organisations.

Harvest is a great example of business and government working together to stop packaging waste ending up in landfill, thereby saving our natural resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment.

The National Packaging Covenant is a unique Australian initiative between governments, industry and community groups to divert packaging waste from landfill.

The Harvest project is just one of 44 the Covenant funds across Australia, worth a combined total of $47 million, to find better ways to make packaging sustainable.
