These services provide strategic insights to your organisation’s waste streams and potential recycling opportunities.

Below are just a couple of examples of how we are helping existing clients to reduce costs and reuse materials that would otherwise be classified as waste materials. Transpacific has worked with:

• A vehicle manufacturer to divert a number of difficult waste streams from landfill. Conducted an audit of this client’s business and identified a number of alternatives for this waste, including one process involving extracting the metal from a product to reuse in a different application.
• A manufacturer of industrial gases, devising alternative uses for one of its major waste products - carbide lime. We identified that this waste stream could be used to improve the soil condition of farm land or as an acid neutraliser in the water treatment process. Transpacific is in the process of developing another use for this waste stream in the manufacturing process of road base.
