OHS Coordinator – Industrial Services

Responsibilities:
Transpacific Industries is currently seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator to join the WA OHS Team. Reporting to both the WA Regional Manager (Industrial Services) and WA OHS Manager, the position is responsible for providing daily functional and technical support for all operational compliance and risk aspects in relation to occupational health and safety legislation and will be an integral part of the Group OHS Department.
The position will be accountable for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the occupational health and safety components of the National Integrated Management System, injury and workers compensation management, and incident investigations for industrial services operations throughout the South West, Goldfields and Metropolitan regions.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
• Current tertiary qualifications in OHS related areas;
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment;
• A minimum three (3) years experience in the industrial services industry; and,
• A comprehensive understanding of statutory reporting obligations in relation to OHS and Workers Compensation, including Return to Work qualifications.
